Annual poker events

Of the annual events that are available, there all types of events on the calendar both for online players and for people who want to attend the live tournaments. The 2009/2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP) started in October and is expected to run until the 7th of May 2010.The annual World Series of Poker tournament seems to yet again be one of the highlights of this year for people who enjoy playing poker. There are other tournaments that are organised by individual casinos. There is the 2010 GUKPT Walsall tournament that is organised by the Grosvenor casino and is an eight day tournament that starts on the twentieth of February this year.

Spring Fixtures

On the 21st of February, there is another tournament that is also an eight day event at the casino called the CAPT Bregenz casino in Austria. There many other smaller tournaments that are held at various casinos that are meant to keep their guest entertained and win money at the same time. Other small tournaments that are to be held at around the same period of time which is ranging from one day to ten days include the winning O’ green tournament at the bicycle casino, that runs from February the 25th to the 21st of march. Around the same time, there will be many more tournaments such as at the Mantra Resort Spa and casino, the Chicago Poker classic at the Horse shoe Hammond, the Macau Poker cup at the Grand Lisboa among many others.

European Poker Tournament

On a global scale there are some very high stake games that are played by poker lovers and professionals. These are for example the European Poker Tournament. This will be the sixth edition of the tournament and there will be a couple of events showcased in the tour. The First event will be through Moscow. This will take place on the 18th to the 23rd at the Sports place with buy in four thousand to five thousand pounds. The second Event will be through Barcelona on the 4th to the 9the of September later this year at the casino Barcelona and the buy-ins will go for about eight thousand pounds.

Major City Poker Events

On the second to the seventh of October there will be an event at the Hilton Metropole in London with the buy-ins being about five thousand to five thousand five hundred pounds. Most of these tournaments are usually broadcasted live via the internet. In Berlin, there will be a tournament that will be held at the Spiel bank Berlin am Postdamer Platz on the second to the seventh of March for a buy in of five thousand pounds. For ten thousand pounds, a player is allowed to play at the sporting club in Monte Carlo where the Europe Poker tour will take place. This will be between the 25th and the 30th of April.

There are many regional poker tournaments and they are in every regions to enable the players to attend comfortably. There is the United States Tournament as mentioned above; there is the Caribbean tournament, the Japan tournament and many other tournaments that allow the poker lovers to have a good experience.
